Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This privacy policy describes how ED Solution Tech Sagl processes the personal data of users of the website https://edsolutiontech.ch, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Via Luigi Lavizzari 17, 6850 Mendrisio (Ticino, Switzerland)

What data we collect

  • Data provided by the user: name, email, phone, company and message sent through the contact form.
  • Hosting and domain requests: selected plan, domain, requested action (registration, transfer or use of an existing domain), any mailbox quantity, contact details and notes. If you provide it, we also collect the EPP/AuthInfo transfer code, encrypted in a private archive.
  • Technical data: to limit abuse of the hosting form, we temporarily store an identifier derived from the IP address. Navigation statistics are collected only with your consent (see Cookie Policy).

Purposes and legal basis

  • Responding to requests sent through the contact form (basis: pre-contractual measures / consent).
  • Reviewing hosting requests, checking domain details, preparing a proposal and contacting you before any registration or transfer (basis: pre-contractual measures). Submitting a request does not trigger automatic activation or payment.
  • Limiting abusive hosting-form submissions through a temporary technical control (basis: legitimate interest in service security).
  • Providing the requested services and managing the customer relationship (basis: performance of the contract).
  • Analysis of site usage via Google Analytics 4, with pseudonymous identifiers and aggregated reports (basis: consent).
  • Legal, tax and accounting obligations (basis: legal obligation).

Processing methods and retention

Data is processed with IT tools and security measures adequate to prevent unauthorized access. We retain the data for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and legal obligations:

  • contact form data: up to 24 months, unless a contractual relationship is established;
  • hosting requests without a subsequent contract: up to 24 months; EPP/AuthInfo codes are removed as soon as they are no longer needed for the procedure. Authorized staff manage deletion from the protected admin area;
  • accounting and tax records: 10 years, as required by art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations;
  • cookie consent: stored on your device and renewed after 12 months.

Recipients of the data

Data may be processed by providers that support us in delivering the service, appointed as data processors where required:

  • Website hosting and email: infrastructure located in Switzerland.
  • Hosting requests: access is limited to authorized ED Solution Tech Sagl staff through a protected admin area; data needed for registration or service provision is shared with the agreed provider only after confirmation with the customer.
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC: Google Analytics 4 is enabled only after your consent, without Google Signals or ad personalization. Visits are collected using cookie identifiers; we do not describe this collection as anonymous.
  • WhatsApp Ireland Limited: if you message us through WhatsApp, the service processes your number and conversation data under its own privacy policy. The button is a plain link, not an embedded WhatsApp component.
  • Data recovery request form: the relevant page embeds a form on partner.salvataggio-dati.com, a service of Fields Associates Limited. On loading, your browser communicates technical data, including IP and browser information, to the provider. The data you enter is sent to that service to handle your request. Read its privacy policy before submitting.

We do not sell or transfer data to third parties for marketing purposes.

International data transfers

External services may process data outside Switzerland: Google also in the EU and the United States, WhatsApp also in the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel and Singapore; the data recovery service is based in the United Kingdom. The Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework cover only certified US entities and processing included in their certification, not every transfer to the United States. Google and WhatsApp describe their use of these frameworks and, for other transfers, standard contractual clauses in their policies. You can read the safeguards stated by Google and the WhatsApp policy linked above, or request information from us at info@edsolutiontech.ch.

Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

Users in the European Union

ED Solution Tech Sagl is a company incorporated under Swiss law and based in Switzerland. Where we offer our services to people located in the European Union, the processing of their data is also carried out in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), under its art. 3(2). Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection: data may therefore be transferred from the EU to Switzerland without additional safeguards.

For any GDPR-related request — exercising your rights, information about processing, contact from a supervisory authority — the contact point is info@edsolutiontech.ch, or ED Solution Tech Sagl, Via Luigi Lavizzari 17, 6850 Mendrisio (Ticino, Switzerland). Where we process data on behalf of a client (for example running a business application or a backup), we act as a processor under a contract pursuant to art. 28 GDPR: in that case the client is the controller and data subject requests should be addressed to them.

Your rights

You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, as well as object to processing and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, write to info@edsolutiontech.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); if you reside in the EU, the authority of your country.

Cookies

The site uses technical cookies and, subject to consent, statistical cookies. For details, see the Cookie Policy.
